Took my Son here today to eat and we had a blast. Food is authentic. I ordered the shrimp burrito and it was delicious! My son ordered the fajita plate with home made tortillas, rice and beans. Let's say he was very pleased with his meal. We will be a return customer! Waitress was very pleasant, place was clean and welcoming. Laid back atmosphere.

Good TexMex at great prices. Never packed. Sometimes loud because of the jukebox, but never stops me. Incredible menu: 4 pages! Drive through and dine in. Always good food and great service. And, a drive thru when you need to take lunch back to the office! (I love drive thru's!)

I have not had a warm veggie salsa before and it was good! The menu is fantastic with a wide variety. I had the red enchiladas with quail. The enchiladas were very good. The quail was slightly over cooked but still flavorful. The service was outstanding. I will return.

This is my go to place for food specials. The portions are big enough you can split a plate with a friend for 7.99 . That's less than two combo meals at Mc Donald's! Great flavor two salsas waitress always smiles . They have an extensive menu to choose from and they let you salt your food for those in their sixties and above with high blood pressure. I usually go alone and feel welcome. The only tiny problem is it's too warm in there. I always have several hot flashes . My makeup runs . I'm sweating putting ice cubes on my forehead and in my foundation. Guess I'll keep my menu to fan myself next time. Authentic Mexican food , atmosphere is colorful . They have a ground beef burrito with lettuce avacado rice and beans so big on the Friday special . It looked like a foot long and was so tasty. I ate half of it and gave half to my neighbor . She just raved about it and she's a food snob . Can't go wrong here.

This is my favorite dive Mexican restaurant to eat at when I'm in town. Traditional tacos and fantastic salsa. I always get a large cup of both the warm and cold salsa to take back with me. The lengua is super tender and the cabeza is perfect. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great music and fantastic service.

The staff has been Aware, Attentive and not Annoying. Very friendly and always appear to want to ensure their customers have a great experience. My wife I have eaten here about 3 times over the last 7 months (That is a lot for us, I rarely want to go anywhere these days). They were consistent each time. It is a pain when you go somwhere and you don't know how the service or food is going to be on this trip or any trip.

My husband and I recently moved to Bryan (near the Federal Women's Prison.) We got DoorDash from Taqueria El Sol de Mexico (on Villa Maria) and my husband has picked up food from El Sol de Mexico (on N Texas.) We are in looooooooove!! So much so, we ate from the N Texas location twice yesterday. Don't sleep on them! Their salsas (though different) are delicious! So far we've had: Shrimp Tostada Shrimp Quesadilla Caldo de Pollo Barbacoa Tacos Cabeza Sopes Chicken Fajita Gordita Caldo de Marisco All DELICIOUSSSSSSS!!! (If you order chips & salsa from the N Texas location, be sure to ask for extra chips.)

This place has been closed down for uncleanliness yet I still keep coming back. I can't help it - it's such savory, such authentic, such lovely Mexican food. Everything I've tried here has been absolutely delectable and cheap to boot! #35 - two chicken taquitos and your choice of cheese or chicken quesadilla - I went for the cheese. Who can beat homemade flour tortillas covered in melted cheese? I certainly can't. The taquitos were crunchy on the outside, filled to the brim on the inside with savory chicken. Guac, beans, rice are all pretty tasty. Parking is adjacent, limited but never full due to location. Not too sketchy but I wouldn't leave my car there or just hang around at night for some reason. Service is limited to taking order and bringing you food i.e. they don't come to check on you, but it's not too hard to flag a waitress down if you really need something. You pay up at the front after you're done. Don't forget to snag some of that 2 for 25 cent gum.

Authentic and delicious food. Is this the classiest, most aesthetic place to eat? No, but that's just the sign that the Mexican food is good and made with love. I came here with my family who are regulars but I've never been before and I was not disappointed. They give you two salsas with your chips. One was served hot and one cold. They were both fabulous and unique. I ordered the Mexican tacos and they were just delicious. These were not Tex mex but real authentic Mexican tacos. The portion was ample for me being small, but my dad who is 6'7 also agreed that this is a lot of food for anyone. My mom tried the #9 for the first time and she loved it as well. When we were there a man came in with a guitar and sang to the patrons which was a nice surprise. Many of the patrons knew the songs and were singing along. It was a lot of fun! A real hidden gem of BCS!!
